We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide the portal. The legal bases are in particular Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR (contract or pre-contractual measures – registration, handling of load offers), Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR (consent – e.g. Google Maps) and Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure operation).
When the portal is accessed, our hosting provider automatically processes access data (including IP address, date/time, page requested, browser type) in server log files. This is necessary for secure and stable operation (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR). The data is deleted after a short period.
We use technically necessary cookies:
The load board uses Google Maps (provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google Maps is loaded only after your explicit consent (clicking “Load map”). In doing so, data – in particular your IP address – is transferred to Google; a transfer to the USA cannot be ruled out. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR, § 25 (1) TDDDG). You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by deleting the “maps_consent” cookie in your browser. Further information: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Full access (sending offers) requires registration. We process your company name, VAT ID, e-mail address, optionally your phone number, and password (stored only as a cryptographic hash). We send an activation e-mail for confirmation. The purpose is to establish and carry out partner use (Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR).
To protect the load board against fraudulent carrier registrations (e.g. a fake company or a company registering under someone else's identity), we process technical device/browser characteristics (browser type, operating system, screen and hardware parameters, timezone, an anonymous device fingerprint hash) and your IP address, including the country derived from it, whenever you register, sign in, or — on the public board only after your explicit consent (see the map/device consent banner) — view the board as a guest. We compare this data against the country implied by your VAT ID/phone number, and against a list of previously confirmed fraud cases, to detect e.g. a company claiming to be German while registering from an unrelated country, or the same device repeatedly registering different companies. No GPS location is collected. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in preventing fraud (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR, fraud prevention is explicitly named as a legitimate interest in Recital 47 GDPR); for the guest-board case, additionally your consent (Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR, § 25 (1) TDDDG), stored via the "fraud_fp_consent" cookie (same lifetime as "maps_consent", see section 4). This data is visible internally to authorized staff reviewing carrier registrations and is not shared with third parties.
When you send an offer, we process the selected vehicles, the pickup location, your price and optionally a pickup date and message in order to review your offer and contact you (Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR). For internal handling, our staff are notified of the incoming offer.
